Meet Steve Hochstetter, CPA, CVA
Experience: Steve has been in public accounting since 1983, with significant experience serving small and emerging businesses, not-for-profit organizations, colleges, universities and mortgage bankers.

Education: B.S.B.A., University of South Dakota.

Professional and Civic Activities: Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst since 2000. He is currently a member and treasurer of the Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care. He is the former treasurer of the Pikes Peak Urban League,  past president of the Colorado Springs Kiwanis Foundation, and former member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado.
 


 

Meet Keith Stockman, CPA
Experience: Keith has been in public accounting since 1973, including five years of experience as the chief financial officer of an international not-for-profit organization. His primary areas of expertise include start-up and small- to medium-sized businesses, farming and ranching, and individuals. He provides services in tax planning, estate planning and business planning to many of the firm’s clients.

Education: B.S, Fort Hays State University; M.S., Fort Hays State University.

Professional and Civic Activities: He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). Keith completed the AICPA certification program for Personal Financial Specialists. He served as the treasurer of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and as a director of the Colorado College Business and Community Alliance. He is vice president and past president of the Colorado Springs Sertoma Club and past chairman of the board. Keith is a member and past Master of Ramah (Masonic) Lodge and a former member and past chairman of the CSCPA’s Management of an Accounting Practice Committee. He is currently a director of the Carl George Bjorkman Charitable Foundation and a member of the Garden of the Gods Club.

Meet Dave Kast, CPA, CVA
Experience: Dave has been in public accounting since 1975, which includes performing, planning and supervising audits of numerous companies in virtually all segments of the southern Colorado economy. He has worked for clients with revenues ranging from none to in excess of $100 million.

His experience in valuation encompasses multiple industries and situations, such as estate and gift tax, buy/sell transactions and matrimonial dispute. Dave has testified in a variety of situations involving lost profits and accounting and auditing issues.

Education: B.S.B.A., Colorado State University.

Professional and Civic Activities: Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), and has been an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst since 1998. He was previously a member of the CSCPA Small Business, Real Estate and Not-For-Profit committees and a member of the AICPA Forensic and Litigation Services committee. He is also a member and past president of The Palmer Land Trust (1986-1992, 2000-present) and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Garden of the Gods Foundation. He was appointed in 1999 by the Governor to the Board of the Colorado Education and Cultural Facilities Authority (a State of Colorado conduit debt issuer). Dave is also involved with many local community organizations, including Pikes Peak Council Boy Scouts of America, ComCor, Inc., Community Partnership for Child Development (Head Start), Pikes Peak United Way, Pikes Peak Mental Health Center, the Pikes Peak Foundation for Mental Health and the Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation.
