Meet Eric Ryan, CPA
Experience: Eric has been in public accounting since 1977, with significant experience serving a variety of real estate, manufacturing and small business clients. He also provides estate planning & prearation services to high net worth individuals.
Education: B.B.A., University of Notre Dame; Masters of Business Taxation, University of Southern California.
Professional and Civic Activities: Eric is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Colorado Springs. He currently serves as chairman of the Audit and Ethics Committee for the United States Anti-Doping Agency and as treasurer of the Foundation for Colorado Springs’ Future. He is also a past officer for the Pikes Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Economic Development Corporation of Colorado Springs, the Winter Night Club, the Notre Dame Club of Southern Colorado, the Housing and Building Association of Metropolitan Colorado Springs and the Better Business Bureau. He is also a past honorarium instructor of taxation at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Meet Keith Stockman, CPA
Experience: Keith has been in public accounting since 1973, including five years of experience as the chief financial officer of an international not-for-profit organization. His primary areas of expertise include start-up and small- to medium-sized businesses, farming and ranching, and individuals. He provides services in tax planning, estate planning and business planning to many of the firm’s clients.
Education: B.S, Fort Hays State University; M.S., Fort Hays State University.
Professional and Civic Activities: He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). Keith completed the AICPA certification program for Personal Financial Specialists. He served as the treasurer of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and as a director of the Colorado College Business and Community Alliance. He is vice president and past president of the Colorado Springs Sertoma Club and past chairman of the board. Keith is a member and past Master of Ramah (Masonic) Lodge and a former member and past chairman of the CSCPA’s Management of an Accounting Practice Committee. He is currently a director of the Carl George Bjorkman Charitable Foundation and a member of the Garden of the Gods Club.

Meet Jeff Talus, CPA
Experience: Jeff has been in public accounting since 1984, primarily focusing on closely held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, estate planning and auto dealerships.
Education: B.Ac., University of Minnesota; M.T., University of Denver.
Professional and Civic Activities: He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of Colorado Springs. His background includes serving on numerous boards of directors of non-profit organizations in the Pikes Peak region, including the Children’s Museum of Colorado Springs and the Cheyenne Mountain Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Meet Marilue Beverly, CPA
Experience: Marilue has been in public accounting since 1987, with significant experience serving manufacturing clients and not-for-profit organizations.
Education: B.S., University of Denver; M.S., University of Denver.
Professional and Civic Activities: Marilue is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as treasurer for a local not-for-profit organization.

Meet Judy Kaltenbacher, CPA
Experience: Judy has been in public accounting since 1985, with significant experience serving real estate partnerships, S-Corporations, not-for-profit organizations and small business clients. She is experienced with providing tax planning for high net worth individuals.
Education: B.S., University of Colorado at Colorado Springs; Master of Taxation, University of Denver; Designation of Retirement Planning Specialist from the National Institute.
Professional and Civic Activities: Judy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently serves as treasurer of the corporate board of Newborn Hope. She has also served on the finance committee of several boards, including S.E.T. of Colorado Springs and the Better Business Bureau.
Meet Mark Patterson, CPA
Experience: Prior to joining Stockman Kast Ryan & Co., Mark was a tax consulting manager with Arthur Anderson in Phoenix. During that time, he worked closely with clients to proactively consult with them throughout the year to help minimize the tax impact of future transations. He has assisted clients with tax-free restructurings and domestic and international mergers and aquisitions. Mark's practice includes working with organizations ranging from small high tech startups to large public companies.
Education: B.S., with an emphasis in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs; Master of Taxation, University of Denver
Professional and Civic Activities: Mark is a licensed CPA in Colorado and Arizona and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). Mark currently serves as Treasurer of the Peak Venture Group and Celebrate Technology (CT) and served as co-chair for CT in 2005. He is an active advisor with the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator and a board member of the Rocky Mountain Technology Alliance. Mark is an active participant in the Rockies Venture Club and annually attends the Venture Capital in the Rockies Conference. He sits on the board of the Colorado College Business and Community Alliance and the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony.
